Chip Configuration

In this panel you can configure video chips emulation


      

You can select the video chip to use and to configure its video RAM size. blueMSX supports four different video chips:

       TMS9929A   Used in 50Hz PAL MSX1 machines and in the Spectravideo SVI-318 and SVI-328 machines.   16 Kb VRAM
           
       TMS99x8A   Used in 60Hz NTSC MSX1 machines, the ColecoVision and SG-1000 consoles, the SC-3000 and SF-7000 computers   16 Kb VRAM
           
       V9938   Used in MSX2 machines for both PAL and NTSC. The MSX bios ROM configures the video chip to use either PAL or NTSC. A japanese bios uses NTSC and an european bios uses PAL.   16, 64 or 128 Kb VRAM
           
       V9958   Used in MSX2+ and MSXturboR machines for both PAL and NTSC and is configured by MSX bios the same way as V9938.   128 or 192 Kb VRAM
